Big Star is a fairly new to Jean Therapy brand, although it's been around for a pretty long time. Big Star was launched in Europe in 1976 as a French brand and was later brought to the United States where it was the #1 selling high-end denim brand. The line eventually lost its clout in the industry, until Mr. Yul Ku of Koos Manufacturing, Los Angeles, purchased the rights to the brand and re-launched it in August of 2003 with Adriano Goldschmied doing all the design. The demand for them has since skyrocketed, exceeding industry expectations and making a name for itself all over again.
We, at Jean Therapy, find Big Star jeans to be really affordable and the washes and details to be really special. They quickly became a customer favorite in a very short amount of time.
